Kendriya Vidyalaya SECL Jamuna Colliery is a co-educational project school running under South Eastern Coalfields Limited ( SECL) and an integral part of Kendriya Vidylaya Sanagthan. It is situated in the salubrious surroundings and lush green atmosphere. It is almost 9 KM awAy from Kotma Railway Station and 40 km from Anuppur Railway station. Since its inception in 1985, it has come a long way and stands as one of the well known educational institutions in Jabalpur Region. Initially started with temporary infrastructure up to Class XII , in 1989 the school shifted to its own permanent building, presently spread across 4 hectares of land. Today the school is well developed in an impressive building having 02 sections each from Class I to X, and one section each for classes XI, XII (Science stream), with total enrolment of approx. 890 students (including Balvatika 3
